History Brief-
Originally established as the Onondaga Pottery Company (O.P. Co.) in 1871, the company started by producing only earthenware. However, everything changed when James Pass joined in 1885, creating a new type of translucent chinaware that put O.P. Co. on the global stage. By the early 1890s, they became the first to manufacture American-made vitreous china, and by 1895, “Syracuse China” was introduced as the back-stamp. This innovation led to O.P. Co.’s china being utilized in hotels, clubs, airplanes, trains, cruise ships, and restaurants worldwide.

* Kindly keep in mind that our vintage and antique items are not brand new. We strive to carefully point out and display any scratches, imperfections, signs of wear, and tears.
