West Bend Penguin Hot & Cold Server

$48.95
We are excited to present three Penguin Hot & Cold Servers in the silver edition by West Bend, hailing from West Bend, Wisconsin.

The ice bucket features a nearly spherical design with a perfectly round lid topped by a Bakelite knob, and Bakelite handles styled like penguins. Designed by Ralph N. Kircher, the West Bend Aluminum Company Penguin Hot & Cold Servers began being produced in the 1940s, showcasing delightful embossed penguins, which is how they earned the Penguin brand name.

We have three of these vintage MCM pieces, one of which dates back to before the 1960s, prior to the West Bend Company rebranding from West Bend Aluminum Company. The other two were made in the 1960s. All of these pieces are in good vintage condition, with some minor scratches and scuffs from use and age, measuring 11 inches (including the handles) by 10 inches, and standing 8 inches tall, including the lid knob.

These retro pieces would make a wonderful enhancement to any bar collection. When choosing, you can opt for the WB Aluminum Company (1) or WB Company A or B (2). Should you desire more detailed images from any available server, feel free to reach out to us, and we will provide specific images upon request.

* Kindly keep in mind that our vintage and antique items are not brand new. We strive to carefully point out and display any scratches, imperfections, signs of wear, and tears.
